VEGAN COOKIES
Owners Bryan and Monica met in Seattle,
Washington in 1997. Bryan was traveling from New Orleans, LA
in route to be the chef of the Rock Bottom Brewery and Monica
was trying to score a job as a hostess. After flirting with the
chef, she was hired. The rest is history. These two kids have
chased a nomadic lifestyle of living in eight cites in nine years
of togetherness. Then Xion Star Merker arrived onto the scene.
Now that King Xion Star rules the house, their lives have changed.
Now the three Merkers dwell in Palm Springs, California and travel
around the country spreading the art of sweetness with their
vegan cookies.
Bryan has been a nationally recognized chef for the past twelve
years; overseeing restaurant operations in Kansas City, New Orleans,
Seattle, Portland, San Diego and Burbank. He created the gourmet
food company called Melting Munchies. His crazy wife Monica is
the inspiration for the company name. Because Monica is lactose
intolerant, she created vegan cookies that are healthy and delicious.
